I believe SoftwareInformer is confusing 3CXPhone -- the softphone with the 3CXPhone the PBX phone system so the version notification is wrong here. I'm using the 3CXPhone VOIP Softphone version 4.0.9532 but it's saying the latest is 8.0 --- 8.0 is the latest PBX version. I hope this is helpful to others.

Thanks Joan --- sorry, I was under the impression this was the 3cx Voip Phone not the full Phone System --- I did however find the update to the Voip Softphone as well here: http://www.3cx.com/forums/3cxphone-4-new-voip-phone-with-iphone-look-and-feel-11190-30.html

The new beta has an iPhone look --- I just updated my version to 4.0.9340.0

I'll have to checkout the new Phone System version too, I'm using this as well --- great product
